The Icelandic composer is writing a new opera for the Deutsche Oper. As composer in residence, she is also a regular presence elsewhere – including at the Gedächtniskirche and Berghain. She will also be performing as a double bass player.

The Deutsche Oper has a poet in residence! Congolese-Austrian writer Fiston Mwanza Mujila is not only writing the libretto for the musical theatre production Sunville, he is also performing in it himself and can be seen in other formats.
